Lots of thoughtful interesting moves up steep face.

top-roping . . .
This route could be top-roped (with directionals) after leading "Jannu" some other route leading to its top anchor - (see "top-roping" in the Description for the route "Jannu 1957" for other ways to reach its top anchor).

directions . . .
Roughly straight up, trending a bit right through the middle, then a bit left to the top anchor.

Tricky getting to the second bolt and then past it. Some might feel that the first bolt is too low to help protect.
. . . (Perhaps it will feel like only 5.9 after you work out the sequence, but not a "friendly" way to start a session on this wall).

name: The year of a reconnaissance expedition to the great Himalayan peak of Makalu.

In the middle of the left half of this cliff, where the name of the route is painted on the rock.

Wedge bolts (guess diameter 10mm) for Leading up to a two-bolt anchor with chain-connection and rappel ring.
We do not know the metal composition of the bolts or anchor hardware.

This anchor is about 2 meters left and slightly below from the top anchor for "Jannu 1957".

Unfortunately in 2018 we did not count the intermediate bolts for leading.
