Description

This is actually the second pitch of Goat's Head Soup.  From the anchor, climb up onto the ridgeline, then up a series of corners to the chains.  The climbing isn't hard, but it has a great feeling of exposure high off the ground.  A 35m rope will just make it back to the ground on rappel, but I wouldn't try linking the two pitches and belaying from the ground.  There are many mid-point rappel anchors to chose from if you are rapping with a shorter rope.

Location

Climb Goat's Head Soup (5.9) and continue up the ridgeline.

Protection

6 bolts and ring anchors
