FFFA (First Furry Free Ascent) [Suggest Change]

Bouldery start, route finding can be tricky, pro is non existent, but plenty of ledges for napping! The crux is getting up the last pitch above the vents. I had to down climb 5 stories and traverse over to the corner to find a good way to top out.

Very aesthetic climbing with good exposure, for sure. But how is this even a 12, with full hands-free rests every 10 feet or so? 3 days ago

Here’s the sequence for the crux section.… 3 days ago
My guess is... a relationship was involved. One would speculate, some kind of romance had bloomed during the spring… perhaps late night feedings along a porch somewhere, perhaps being Minnesota, a lake was involved. Things were looking good, hearts swelled as well as bellies. But then, without warning… it was cut off. Perhaps someone realized their own entropy issues. Perhaps they were turned off by the little leathery hands. Regardless when Rocky arrived for the usual feeding and needing, there was only a Dear Coon note and a plate full of emptiness.

Rocky could not handle the rejection, nights of texting with no reply could only lead to one thing… Rocky HAD to win her back. Rocky had to show that love was true. Using only a partial email of Magill, where she called herself Lil, he knew she was on 23, working for Nancy. Armed with only a partially eaten cliff bar (found in a nearby dumpster) and a chest full of denial Rocky made his way to her window ledge for one last plea. The rest is history and can be found by a simple search. Go get em’ Rocky! 3 days ago

The exposure is pretty wild, but the climbing isn't too pumpy. The ledges allowed me to regain my composure and energy. I was pretty hungry after spending two days on the route, and solidly recommend caching some food at the top. 3 days ago
