Description Suggest change

Sit/crouch start with left hand on arete and right hand on the lowest slanting ledge. Compress your way up and escape right where the two boulders split. Watch the back dab on the top out.

(Feb 2022) A variation called "Gorilla Monsoon Sit" adds one hard move to the beginning. Starts both hands matched on the arete, fire out right to the lowest ledge, then climb the original Gorilla Monsoon line. Opinions on the added difficulty vary widely. Some feel this move adds enough to make it low-end V8, while some feel it adds no notable difficulty. Currently V7 is a safe middle-ground grade to give this variation.
