California > Southern-Wester… > Hwy 41: Fresno… > Shuteye Ridge > Big Sleep Area > Crocodile Dome

Description

Start on the bulge flake to the left of the big crack and then up the broken seem. A few balance feet and very flared hands brings up into the upper seam. Delicate until joining Sunday School.

Location

Just to the right of Sunday School over a flake and up a seem.

Protection

Gear to 3" since you finish on the off width / hands on Sunday school. However, its pretty flared and unprotect able through the middle part. Gear a little shallow when you can plug it.

[Hide Comment] The climbing on this route is awesome and fun! But it should be listed as a TR only, or at least give it a R/X rating. The gear is more than "tricky" (as guidebook says); it is mostly nonexistent and crappy when it does exist. Even after the proless seam ends and it becomes a "crack" it is more of a groove that does not take pro well if at all. Fortunately, the anchor for Sunday School is directly over Bible Study, making it perfect for an enjoyable toprope ride Oct 29, 2018
