Description
A traverse which links up the West Face, Shadows in the Rain, and The Prow. It gives access to the amazing! 12b splitter on The Prow while bypassing the 11b(r) section below.
Protection
The traverse utilizes a pre-existing bolt which is part of the route Shadows in the Rain, and two, long BD Bugaboo fixed pitons, which we pounded into a horizontal, very thin incipient crack/seam system. The pitons rang like high pitched bells (good placements) when we set them. Save extra 0.5 C4 down to black Alien cams for the belay at the base of the 12b crack.
