Description

Right of Standard Route is a featured slab with clean, solid rock exfoliations and slabs. An early, traditionally protected slab on Split Rocks Main SE Face. A great route to refine trad skills, route finding, adventuring. Once a very popular right of passage for NOLS Instructors.

Protection

No fix. Full trad, including building anchors. You will need 1&1/2 sets mostly thin and sling. With this rack it is possible to finish the last pitch with "Blow Out" 5.10b ** hand crack on the overhanging summit block.

Location

20m right of Standard Route. Locate red colored spot of rock and quest straight up slab with small gear and slings in thin cracks and under overlaps. Belay 3 times on nice ledges.
