Description

This climb is a good introduction into the wild stalactite climbing of El Chonta.  With a moderate start, wild steep climbing thru a roof and a crux finish, this climb makes for a challenging OS.Climb up moderately steep heavily featured 5.11 ground to a nice rest below the super steep roof.  Jungle gym through the stalactites and battle through the crux finish.  Use many slings to keep the rope drag down.  Use caution cleaning and either TR the route, or plan to tram off the fixed sling.

Location

Positioned on the left side of the cave towards the bottom.  Starts to the left of a large pillar.  Currently has a red sling thread for the second bolt.  It is two routes right of El Jaguar.

Protection

Bolts to Anchors, use alot of slings or the rope drag will get quite bad.
