Please avoid climbing on the far western side of Middle East Wall where there may be an active nest site on the route "Australian Dick Wrestling", approximately through July 15, 2019. More information is being gathered on the specific species.

Description

I am not entirely sure this was in fact the crack I climbed, hard to tell when you enter obscure unclimbed terrain. It looked promising and turns out to has a ton of rotten crumbling rock. I was thinking it 5.8 but could have a move of 5.9.

Location

maybe 400' west of Focal Point, the obvious last bolted route. I will try to better describe this after next visit.

Protection

mostly hand crack. There are a few spots that are wider and full of loose rock. If someone feels like cleaning some more, please do.

I don't think this is Little Provocation, as Little Provocation is past Sleeping with the Fish. Sleeping with the Fish is much more than 100 feet past Focal Point. Jan 25, 2020

and yes the Fish one is about 600' past Focal point, the trail past there is so bad you can only TR from above soon after. or rap in, or walk in from the west end. Sep 26, 2020
