Description

Bolted by Jim Thurmond, during the first year or so of Robinson’s development, as a great test piece for the stronger climbers visiting the area. The start of the route continues to grow longer, as a bouldering problem with a sit start in the cave. Enjoy the boulder problem or give it a go as a standing start from below the first bolt perma-draw.

Location

Just to the left of Pillow Fort at the bottom of the stairs.

[Hide Comment] Zach, I don't believe this is a duplicate. This route is already bolted and I think Marcus is working on bolting Projects 2, 3 and 4. Marcus, can you clear this up for us? Sep 18, 2020

[Hide Comment] Did 2 variations of this one.
1) Started on the right side of the cave and worked into the route.
2) Sit started as far back in the cave on the left hand side.
I thought both variations felt around 12b, with the sit start probably being a little harder.

“Old Prospector” I thought was a fitting name if this was an FA. Oct 31, 2020
