The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Face moves to get onto a big ledge, then a juggy overhanging sequence to reach a vertical flared crack that leads up to the top. This is the Unknown TR numbered 739 in the JTree West book.
