Access Issue: Lower Main Wall/East Buttress Trails Re-opened Details

Description

Vertigo offers a good, steep gear lead or toprope that is much sunnier and open than other routes on Lookout Wall. Although not especially clean, it's not as dirty as it looks and doesn't detract much from the juggy climbing.

Location

The obvious trad line right of the main buttress of Lookout Wall.

Protection

Smallish rack to 3". Double bolt anchor for rappel or walk off to right

It is possible this route is The Beginning - 5.8, also shown in the guidebook. Guessed Vertigo because there was no crack route further right. Post up if you know otherwise Mar 23, 2018
