Description

Ozone's 5.5 testpiece :) A good route to learn leading, setting anchors, etc. Otherwise unremarkable. 3 bolts to an anchor with rap rings. Not climbed very often so it may be mossy. Don't ask where the name comes from.

Location

About 30 feet to the left of "Playing Hooky" and "1st Grade Problems" there are two bolted sport routes. This is the one on the left. The one on the right is about 5.7 or 5.8.

[Hide Comment] I still think Moss Cow is a darn good route name :) Mar 21, 2018

[Hide Comment] As a relatively new climber I enjoyed this. I would say that there are actually three routes here. The 5.5 and then a route that follows the crack and then one that follows the bolt line. The one that follows the crack is no where either of the anchors but it's still pretty fun and once you get to the top there's a nice little ledge you can use to traverse towards to the 5.7 anchor to avoid a big swing. Definitely a good couple of routes for newbies. May 25, 2018

[Hide Comment] Perfect route to learn sport climbing with each bolt being reachable while standing on a stable ledge to reduce intrinsic fear. Route had quite a bit of pine needles/loose dust on some of the holds but moss was not an issue really. Oct 3, 2021
