The crux is between the ledge where the anchors are located and above the big boulder/ledge. Using only the pockets without the arete makes it harder than 5.9.

To the right of "Giant Killer, The", thereby the name "Fezzik (Andre the Giant)". Currently, until we put bolts, walk along the ledge from "Giant Killer, The" to set up Top Rope anchors with long slings.

Six bolts to a two bolt anchor

Our esteemed FA wouldn't notice any difficulty until 5.11. The first half is 5.6 at most. The second half, if one stays purely on the face and doesn't left-hand on the arete, as FA did, certainly exceeds the other GE 5.9 in difficulty. Mar 18, 2018
