Description

Begin with excellent technical climbing up a left-angling seam. From a nice rest beneath the roof, fire up through an undercling into a sustained series of small edges. This has great movement all around!

Location

This route sits in the upper right portion of the crag and is the second bolt line from the left in this group of four.

Protection

8 bolts.

Epic route! Very fun movement all throughout with a nice rest below the roof. If the area is crowded, just be aware that Grave Digger, Dia de los Muertos, and Hellbender all share a first bolt (on easier terrain). Since Grave Digger traverses left and a little below Dia de los Muertos, it may be unwise to have multiple parties on those two routes, but eventually they diverge enough. Use your best judgement. Very cool climbing going on here. A few bolts of semi-slab-like 5.10 climbing leads you to a fun V3 boulder problem to a 5.9 exit. Soft 12a. Jun 3, 2018

Great climbing on the whole route, but the 12a comes from 3 moves in the middle. The rest is 5.9-5.10, which might make it a good route to break in the grade. 6 days ago
