FA: Jarek Kotlarczyk, Brandon Workman (2015)
Washington > Northwest Region > San Juan, Fidal… > Mt Erie > (f) Summit Area > (b) Lookout Wall

Description

Fantastic route on the left side of the wall. Worth doing while you're there. Solid climb for the grade of 5.10c, beta intensive moves on crimps with great exposure.
All bolts on this route are tan, so follow the 2 bolts up on the arete and cross over Beanies Blast toward the middle of the wall. Shares an anchor with beanies blast.

Location

Starts furthest left on the wall and traverses right towards the middle. Finishes on the same anchor as Beanies Blast.

Protection

6 bolts all painted tan.

[Hide Comment] Looks like a hold may have broken off near the top, and the 10+ grade no longer seems accurate. Or, I am still bad at climbing things. Jan 25, 2021

No holds broke off, we just graded it (10c) in line with old school Mt Erie grades. May 29, 2022

[Hide Comment] The top of the climb is the crux and is a little bit of a squeeze job between Beane's Blast and Bomb Blast Lightning Waltz. I found going slightly left into / near Beane's Blast was a bit easier them trending right into Bomb Blast. Fun climb! Aug 1, 2022
