Description

Menage a Trois is the second known route up the Lost Pink Tower, following cracks on the east arete of the peak. Good rock quality for the majority of the line, but rather brushy.

From a notch between the wall and a huge house-sized boulder, scramble out right on 4th class ledges to their end, reaching the cleanest looking crack system. A bolt marks the belay spot and provides protection for the tricky first moves gaining the nice crack off the ledge. Follow cracks up near the arete for 2 pitches, passing through a broken brushy zone on P2. Cross back over the arete to the left on P3, aiming for the obvious corner with roof above. Pull over the roof on P4, following another crack system to a large terrace. Easier terrain on P5 leads to the summit.

Protection

Doubles 0-3". One or two 60M ropes to rappel the gully between LPT and the Cobblers Bench.
