Description
This is another line up the south summit of Gun-Sight Butte, with just a touch of aid at the beginning to get into the main crack system.
The line starts with a poor #1 pecker placement in a shallow seam. A slightly better beak placement leads to good cams and the start of the free climbing. The majority of the climb is dirty, but fun squeeze climbing to a soft top out.
Location
The line is the northern most wide crack on the west face of the butte.
Protection
1 or 2 small beaks, a single set of cams from fingers to #6 camalots. I had a #9 valley giant with me and used it, but it's not mandatory.
[Hide Photo] This is Roy's photo of the butte, the line we climbed is left to the one that he points out in green.
