Start low on right arete using jugs in the crack. Move up the arête using nice holds. Top out can either be on the face to the left or right through the big crack. Going left may be a bit harder. Good for warming up for the rest of the swamp routes.
This route is on what I call the welcome boulder. It’s the first boulder you’ll come across when heading to the swamp boulders. On the scabbard mill trail you’ll see a flat topped boulder on the left. Several more feet up the trail the welcome boulder lurks off to the right. Hard to see in summer due to foliage but sort of visable in fall. Overhanging on one side. Raby Soldier is on the right side arête of the overhang.
