DescriptionA short but brilliant classic sharp arete. Almost every move uses the arete for the right hand. During cleaning a sizable chuck of thumb flesh was gouged and copious bleeding ensued, Hence the name.
With some hassle the formation can be scrabled for a TR set up. Nicely shaded on a warm afternoon.
LocationThis route sits on a small formation 150 feet south east from Midway. The Bloody arete is visible off to the right as one hikes past Midway
