The SeKi Rock Climbing website nps.gov/seki/planyourvisit/… has current closures as well as other climbing information for visitors.

Moro Rock (SEKI) and Chimney Rocks usually have nesting closures every year from April 1 to August 15.

As of April 2016, all routes are open to climbing.

Description

Route starts up the obvious water streak for 3 good pitches of slab. Last 3 bolts of 6 on pitch 1 is the crux--slick and steep. 5.9/10a. 3 single rope rappels with a 70m rope brings you back to start.

Location

Immediately left of Dragon Wing (obvious flake-like section of rock that has a flaring corner and cracks).

Protection

10 draws and a 70m rope.

Did this one in 95 degree weather. I linked the first two pitches with a 60 by back cleaning and skipping a few bolts. Dec 31, 2017
