Description

Cold shuts on ledge three feet back from edge of wall to get to start. Up dihedral and traverse left to roof and two bolts above. Cold Shuts (From Isolation Canyon Climbing Guide by Manuel Rangel - #51 pg 36)
This has the same start as No Motion but then goes left at the roof to the obvious bolts above. Follow the two bolts on the face straight up to the cold shuts on the ledge above (set about three feet back)

Location

Same start as No Motion.

Protection

Single rack to #3. Extendable draws will help with drag.

This one seemed harder than 10a compared to other similarly rated climbs in the area. It felt closer to 10c. I felt the crux (roof) was well bolted. Thanks for that! The moves up and over the roof weren't immediately obvious to me but were solid once I saw them. Dec 23, 2017
