The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Good enough climb if your in the area. Had some moves on it.

This route is just left of Robitussin

Protection

You cannot sew this climb up but gear is where you need it, not sustained 5.7.
Pro to 2" you can finish up the wide crack or chimney and belay from rap anchors

We did on TR but you can lead. We finished climb in the wide crack/chimney by stemming.
