Description

Great new route bolted and cleaned on 12/2/17 by a talented north Idaho climber. Previously listed as an open project in the Yoder and Ford guide, this route now stands alone as one of Vantages best sport routes. The rock is bomber for the difficulties on the first half and should clean up quickly on the top section.

Location

This is the thin corner left of Crazy Fingers.

Protection

7 quick draws and a chain anchor, stick clip highly recommended for the start but the rest of the clips are easy

Awesome climb. Very much a powerful and technical climb with balancy and tenuous moves. First two bolts are the crux as the moves can feel insecure for being so low. The second mini-crux between bolts 4 and 5 is a cool transition from the right face back into the corner. Pretty damn fun and less demanding than the lower one. Don't be fooled though, it's no gimme. The climb eases up considerably passed the 5th bolt and clipping the anchors can feel a bit tricky but not hard.

kudos on this great climb!

ps. broke a hold on the arete up high (6th boltish??) going for the send. Nov 3, 2018
