Description

Long and sustained for BCC, with lots of variety. Climb overhanging arête (.12+) to a point where you can pull left onto the vertical face after the 5th bolt, then move to the mini dihedral for a good shake. A tricky rightward traverse under the big roof starts a long crux sequence getting over the roof and established on the headwall. Do a few more big moves continuing up the headwall and over a smaller roof to the chains at the top of the Higher Education Ridge.

Location

Starts up the prominent arête with large roof above. Located inbetween Ms. Luval and Chris Cranks a Co-Ed. See Ms. Luval Cranks a Thesis for approach beta to this section of the cliff.

Protection

Draws (11 bolts to chains)

Photos

I haven’t sent. But this has high quality climbing. Faces west and would make a nice mid-day winter outing. The rest of the year, it is shaded by nice pin tree in the afternoon. Nov 11, 2017
