Description

Lots of fun moves on big positive holds. The crux is the reaching gets tricky and then the holds get less big and less obvious.

Start on right side of pine tree, up overhang, then big move left to behind the tree.
. . (Is it OK to rest here by leaning back against the tree? see title?)
A little left of the tree, then up to the top.

Variation (similar difficulty): After squeezing past tree, instead traverse Right five feet, then straight up to the top.

warning: The rock on and around this route has not been climbed much yet, and much of the rock is still breakable and loose -- so the belayer and other people should stand far away from underneath the climber - (and if possible, behind a large tree).

Location

Find big thick evergreen tree three-quarters of the way up the steep slope.
