Description

A tricky little problem, as eluded to by the name. It's a fun test of footwork and your ability to problem solve. Start sitting in the corner at the far right side of the boulder and use both sides of the wall to head up the seam and top out on the final slab.

Location

Seems Easy can be found towards the end of the Farside trail, just before you reach the Surprise boulder. Follow the directions for getting to the Farside, then pass the highly clustered boulders containing problems like The Buzz and Alzheimer's. Eventually you will need to keep heading down and right, towards the stream. There is currently a fallen log across the trail which makes the point where the trail veers downhill easy to miss, and other trails have been worn in as a result but they will not take you as directly to Seems Easy and Surprise. Continue on for a few hundred feet and just before you reach the Surprise boulder, Seems Easy will appear on the large boulder to your right. Many other worthwhile problems exist on this block, from V0-V7.

[Hide Comment] Probably the most frustrating, most impossible, easiest, trickiest, and greatest V4 in LCC. All at once. And it has the worst best looking foothold in the canyon. Oct 2, 2017

[Hide Comment] Very unique outdoor boulder. Features movement you'd typically find on a comp-style indoor slab boulder. Try it yourself and see! May 19, 2019

[Hide Comment] Awesome movement. A stand start takes the edge off, but keeps most of the fun and still feels like a worthy v3. The sit is still very worth puzzling out though. May 26, 2020

[Hide Comment] More puzzle than power, love this one. Softer shoes recommended

[Hide Comment] For a shortcut to get to this boulder:

From the Shivers Boulder, cross the river and follow the trail about 150 feet down river, until it turns up to the boulder. Aug 28, 2022
