Stampede

5.8, Sport, 50 ft,  Avg: 2.5 from 35 votes
FA: Dave Quinn 5/16
New Hampshire > Rumney > The Buffalo Corral > Slab Wall

Description

At the grade the beginning can be a little frustrating since the hardest moves are only a few feet off the ground. Once you figure out how to do it however, it's not too bad. All of the challenge is in the first 1/3 of the climb including a really neat sequence past an undercling.

Location

Right in the middle of the cliff. Starts just left of a couple of trees.

Protection

6 bolts to pigtails

[Hide Comment] This whole climb has good movement, even where it eases higher up, the movement remains entertaining. Aug 27, 2017
