Access Issue: Permit need to climb in Cape Nature Areas Details

This beautiful crimpy arete is one of the best highballs in Rocklands. Stand start on two sloping crimps on the right side of the arete and climb up more of the same to the crux move at around 1/5 height: a tricky lockoff to a very small sloping ripple. At this point, make another hard move around the arete to a better hold, and follow increasingly better holds up the seam to top out high above the deck. There is some alternate beta which involves using the arete before the crux move. A beautiful line to look at and a beautiful line to climb. Great for night sessions as it bakes in the sun all day.

The obvious blunt arete with a series of ripples going up the right side. If you are looking at Mary's Roof turn right and it is hard to miss.

Many pads, it is very tall.
