The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

Going straight to the bolt requires attention but it could be approached from the left if you don't mind the cats claw tree. Decent route up the face with smearing and using the crack to the left.

Location

Scramble up 2-3 rocks to the belay spot and look for the cat's claw tree on the right, which is somewhat tucked into the rock face. The route follows the bolt line to the left.
