Description

Smoky is a variation of Thin Line. Start heading right and up towards the flake after the very first ledge. Go around the flake, and head up to the ledges. Do the same finish as Thin Line once you make it to the last ledge before the finish.

Location

Begin with the same start as Thin Line. Head right and up towards the flake.

Protection

Toprope using trees. Feel free to comment on lead protection.

[Hide Comment] Led this on 8/5, pre-placed the post crux cam with an alpine on the way down from leading Thin Line. On a previous attempt, I had got a pink tricam in behind the flake and actually hung on it but have never got it to stick since, so I would say it's definitely PG-13 without the pre-placement, as the bomber placement 3-4 ft below the flake would leave you pretty close to decking if you blew the crux (which is probably worth a TR lap 1st as its pretty tricky). It is a fun lead with that one pre-placement everything but the crux is well-protected. Aug 7, 2020
