Description

Another of the 3 main fun multipitch climbs.

Given its popularity, can be a bit polished in places. The start is very polished and a bit annoying and then about 2/3 of the way up the first pitch, there's a trick spot not far from the belay where you need to move a few feet to the left away from the arete to continue, then easy again.

Pitch 1: UIAA 5+
Pitch 2: UIAA 4

On Pitch two, after the belay you'll hit a grassy ledge type area, do NOT go straight up, that's another route. Head all the way to the left where you'll find an old piton and head up and left over the little ridge towards the same anchors as Bernies Autobahn. It's the central "gulley" with the trees where most routes end.

The long leftwards traverse can be a bit of a head scratcher in place but luckily the climbing isn't hard.

Location

Starts at the base, 4 or 5 meters to the right of Adolf-Niklas-Ged-Weg and Bernies AUtobahn under the big flake and heads straight up.

Protection

First pitch as 3 bolts at the start super close together (oddly) then a bit of a runout until the next and a rock tunnel just before the belay.

Second pitch is very well protected, about 7 bolts (and old piton), until the very end where the final bit is runout until the top.
