Access Issue: Closure information?
Details
Per Diego Concha: I called the DCR today and spoke to a ranger who said they no longer allow climbing at Rattlesnake Rocks because of endangered species that live near the crag and are sending climbers to Quincy Quarries nearby.
Description
High step into a scoop with slanting/smearing foot placements. Walk your feet higher and left as you layback a rounded protrusion to pull yourself (up and left) toward the outside corner. Slopers and crimpers are your only balance options at this point. Reach out left to an awkward/big pinch on a vertical-rail feature. Work your feet higher so you can reach the juggier top of this same feature (crux). Match your hands and pull this hold carefully - it flexes! Move your feet up to the slabby and much easier, upper section of the route.
Location
This ascends the heavily-featured, slabby face to the (climber's) left of the Six Pack roof. Look for the lower scoop toward the outside corner.
