Description

A cryptic route best attempted in the morning when shaded. Start on jugs and pull the small roof to establish yourself on a compact ledge. Crimp your way up to more relaxed climbing, saving a bit of power for the finish.

Location

From Wings of Desire, follow the wall around the corner to the right and walk a few metres up the hill until you're at the base of a dihedral. Shadowlands starts below the roof to your left on stone coloured green by lichen, and continues up the shallow open book.

Protection

7 bolts and chains. Long draws below the roof are nice.

[Hide Comment] Nice route; often overlooked. It's well bolted, but both climber and belayer should study the 3rd (?) clip (the 2nd one above the roof) before starting out to keep any falls safe while low on the route. Jun 14, 2017
