Description

Link up starts on Glitter Gulch for 3 bolts then moves right into Slave to the Grind for 3-4 then finishes on the last bolt or 2 of Sister of Pain. We clipped a long sling on the last bolt of Slave then stepped down to do the final traverse.

Location

Starts on Glitter Gulch and finishes on Sister of Pain.

Protection

bolts. A few long slings are helpful to reduce drag.

These are the bolts I clipped, not sure if I did it as intended or if there's a name for the linkup.

[Hide Comment] To be fair...is this really worthy of being uploaded as a separate route? Props to you for stitching the link up together but this is going to throw off descriptions on other routes .... when they say things like "3rd from the left" or "the route next to such and such" especially when it really inst a new route just sort of a 'variation'.

Maybe instead post on the Glitter Gulch page "We did this fun link up that starts on Glitter Gulch" and post the information there. Jun 12, 2017
[Hide Comment] ^+1 yes, let's please not confuse everyone by posting every possible link up at the sport crags! This can get ridiculous. I'm sure it was fun to do a little bit of each of these 3 awesome routes at once, but just leave it at that. You had fun. Beware because Wolfgang may tell you this linkup is only 10d!! Jun 12, 2017
[Hide Comment] So I guess the local consensus is my planned girdle traverse of the Black Corridor isn't Mountain Project worthy? Jun 12, 2017
[Hide Comment] I think we should also make a rule that you can only comment on routes that you can climb. Jun 13, 2017
[Hide Comment] glad this is on here, thanks for it! I had the same idea today ... Jan 21, 2021
