A few yards past the left-leaning crack of You Snooze, You Lose, is the sandy and slightly chossy start of Spice is Nice. The first roof pulls through a bit of looseness, but then the crux bulge and much cleaner rock are encountered. I've heard that the crux used to be protected by threading a suitcase handle at a pair of pockets. That handle has a thin fracture line, so thankfully you get a bolt now. There is still some spice to be had as you traverse a slab above the crux to the next bulge. The ending eases back again but is a bit tough to read and not a gimme.

Pieces were breaking off of this route when we were on it. A helmet for the belayer is a good idea. It's a lot of fun, so hopefully adding it here gets it more traffic and cleans it up.
