Maine > -Clifton Crags > Parks Pond Bluff > ab. Mushroom Boulder

A short but pumpy and overhanging route. Start on edges, move up to a rail, then into jugs for a few moves. Work your way through some crimps and a gaston and you'll be at the lip in no time. Topout or lower off.

This route is fairly obvious on the overhanging face of the Mushroom boulder facing the Maple Run Wall.

[Hide Comment] You're in deckland, Tennessee for at least 50% of this route. The first bolt is approximately at head level, clipping the second bolt too puts you in groundfall territory. Climbing past the second bolt and clipping the third as well is a potential deck. After that you are ok. Even with a good belayer it would be hard to keep you off the ground during a clip whip, so be confident in your chances. Apr 14, 2024
