Description

Smooth friendly rock makes this climb one of the best in the park. Sit start with a couple sloper sidepulls and follow the dike like features up to the sloper arete. rock over on to the slab or follow the arete up and right.

Location

The far left of "The Golden Nikes" face. From the buoys head right for about 30 feet and look upwards towards the cliffs. This line protrudes with it's unique texture.

[Hide Comment] I've added a photo of what I assume this is based on the rock type mentioned as well as the location. Does this start on the very wide opposing sidepulls? They felt *very* stretched even at 5'11 +3, and it seems way out of the range of V2/3 if that's not the start. Oct 23, 2019

[Hide Comment] Hey, Brendan, we don't start with holds that wide apart. There are some smaller knob slopers that are closer together. Getting off the ground is a bit funky and position oriented. The holds are actually quite unobvious, I think the beta is righthand first, then bump to a knob pinch before going up lefty. Oct 23, 2019

[Hide Comment] As of the end of August 2025 there is a massive ash tree that fell from the right blocking the entire face of this boulder. It is pinched and hung up on a variety of trees and other rocks to the left of the face and seems like it will be quite an undertaking to clear. Will take someone with some serious chainsaw skills to safely remove. Sep 10, 2025
