Description

Climb a semi-hollow sounding flake up to a small roof and good rest. Make a couple committing moves to gain the dihedral. Follow the dihedral to the top.

Location

Obvious clean dihedral midway up the formation between "As The Keyhole Turns" and "Chicken Leg"

Protection

standard rack to 3" double .3 and .4 cams might be nice. small nuts protect the thin crack in the dihedral well. Build an anchor in the cracks right off the top of the route.

This is a very fun climb and probably my favorite at Keyhole so far. I took the 5.10c grade from the guidebook on the area. In my opinion its probably only 10a/b. Great route either way! May 9, 2017
