200 m downstream of Carderock, East, is the increasingly dusty Jam Box Cliff. A crag with 2 prominent flaring Chimney's, Jam Box is the left route near the very overhanging arete'. An "Overhanging Gully"

Downstream of Carderock. Billy Goat Trail is on top of the crag. Never popular but climbed more in previous ages.

Top Rope, with very seldom 3rd class.

If there is a "last great problem" at Carderock; it always has been the arete' left of Jam Box. May 11, 2017

First ascent by Chris Scoredos. One of the earlier 5.10s on the east coast, albeit top roped. Holds have fallen off. A bit harder these days. Oct 8, 2017
