Wyonna's Big Brown Beaver

5.7, Trad, 160 ft, 2 pitches,  Avg: 2.6 from 10 votes
FA: J. Jones, Russ N.
California > Southern Sierra > Needles / Kern… > New Directions > Rusty Nail Area

This is a well protected climb and easily done in one pitch.

Climb up the middle of the wall, clipping some bolts along the way. Set up a belay at a bolted anchor or continue climbing up, moving slightly right and closer to the arete, clipping a few more bolts, to the top of the route.

Bring draws, and pro to 1"
Bolted anchors at the top

[Hide Comment] Fun climb. Best climbing was on the second pitch and doing this as one pitch makes it worth it. I rapped with a 70m and downclimbed the corner 10ft or so. Plan for two raps or bring another rope if you don’t want to do that, but it was easy. Feb 25, 2019
