Nice moderate route toward the middle of DD Slab, about 40 feet left of Shapely Apes. Quality rock and good climbing.

Find blocky ramp coming up from right - bolts are difficult to see from ground. Angle up and left toward a small headwall, place small pro, pull steep moves and continue up bolted slab.

Bolt anchors for rappel using 70m or double ropes. Or can walk off to right, starting with an exposed slabby traverse. Or stop at Shapely Apes anchor for a single rope rappel. Or, if you don't like any of those options, trigger your PLB for a helicopter rescue!

Four bolts and small rack to 2".

As of spring 2016, the initial headwall cracks were plugged with moss and not inviting as holds or for pro. Please post up if/when this has been cleaned out!

If not, it's reasonable to start on Shapely Apes and traverse over. Apr 8, 2017
