This is one of the better climbs in the Undiscovered Country. Although rated V10 in the Miramontes guidebook, it seems easier.

Hop to a pair of jugs about 8 feet off the ground on the overhanging face of the Soul Caliber Boulder. Make big moves through a black plate to a mellow topout.

One or two pads will do it. If you fall off the move to the lip, you just land on the big boulder underneath the Soul Caliber Boulder. However, if you fall off one of the first two moves, you could bounce off this boulder before hitting the ground.

Ticked this line this past Saturday after only five or six tries. I don't think this thing is anywhere close to V10. It is certainly nowhere near as difficult as Left Hand of Darkness (V9). I would say that it is probably comparable to Blue Flame (V7), and even that might be generous. I'll update the grade when people weigh in on it.

That being said, I think it has spectacular movement, but is over too quickly.
