[Hide Comment] This route is a rare find in New England. OW and chimney are somewhat rare out here, at least compared to the Valley and many longer routes out west. If you stay deep within the chimney, you can easily TR a 5.9-5.10 chimney->squeeze on this route, great practice for a very useful type of climbing. At the top you can find the point at which you can wedge your chest, and breathe in to go hands/feet free! Nov 13, 2018

[Hide Comment] Awesome climb. Fun to work on chimney and offwidth technique.

We built a TR anchor toward the outside of The Pinch using a +/- 100' static rope and two nearby trees. Building the anchor above this climb is exposed with loose rocks. Suggest building the anchor while on a tied-off rappel anchored to trees above. Having two people work together to build the anchor helps as well. Apr 13, 2020
