Lower Main Wall/East Buttress Trails Re-opened Details

Description

A nice trad route with some bonafide finger locking to get around the roof. Consistently good rock quality, grainier as you get higher up. If the traverse to the lip seems easy, crank the next moves onto the slab before declaring victory!

You can rappel from an anchor a bit above the roof or continue on to the large ledge

Location

An obvious line that climbs under and right around the obvious ~6' roof. It starts near the huge madrone tree, which is on the right side of Gruesome Gully. It's actually quite close to the start of Gotta Keep Dancing and makes a good warmup/down with the longer routes across the Gully.

Protection

Medium trad rack to 2". Small cams are key for the roof.
