Variety of routes that range from WI2+ up to WI4. You must lead in order to rig a TR. The large pillar on the right that forms up is probably a solid 4-4+.

Note that the central gully area is sometimes skied.


Easily visible from the road. At the top of the Notch and coming from Stowe, this is the first wide-open "V" shaped gully you will see on the Elephant's Head (east) side of the notch. There is fairly wide expanse of ice here, mostly on the left side. Approach up the snow slope.
