Climb straight up an obvious steep crack to a tricky section where it diagonals to the right. Follow this up to where the crack now leans left. Above, you will reach a horizontal line of holds that are followed left to the arete. Finish up the arete.

The last bit of left leaning crack and horizontal traverse are somewhat pumpy.

This might be one of the best routes on the entire formation.

As the name suggests, this route is found on the steep wall to the left of Cenotaph Corner.

The gear is good and available, but placing it can hasten the growing forearm pump.

I finished straight up the left-slanting crack at the very top instead of traversing left to the arete. It was quite fun, safe, and only a bit harder than the tough move below. Jun 26, 2017
