Warning Access Issue: No Fixed Anchors Permitted DetailsDrop down

Description Suggest change

This route follows intermittent weaknesses up the left side of Sunrise Slab, beginning with a fairly obvious small corner. Very easy climbing with just enough gear placements, no fixed anchor.

While possible to lead, this route is probably more enjoyable as a solo as gear placements are somewhat broadly spaced and the climbing is quite easy.

Location Suggest change

Approach from a gully to the north of the route (towards the parking area). Not the gully immediately adjacent to the slab, but the next one over.

Route starts on the far left side of Sunrise Slab, walk off the top.

Protection Suggest change

Gear, single rack small to 3" (possibly double 0.75-1" for anchor)

Note: nothing bigger than 1" for lead, gear 0.75"-3" for anchor
