Description [Edit]

This line follows a thin seam up a steep slab. Start by getting as high as you can on the ramp below the boulder face This allows you to reach up to a 1/4 pad right hand crimp and and a left hand in the seam. A very high left foot gets you onto the boulder problem and into the increasingly widening seam. Work up with the seam and with decent feet. You can finish straight up the entire face or cut slightly left. (the rock cuts in to a roof below the face so this seemed to me, a very natural approach to the line).

Location [Edit]

If you are entering the Round Pond area coming in from the trail head, look left up the hill and find the obvious face with a seam/crack - or if your looking at Family Feud walk left around the boulder and you'll see this line.

That might be it, I was after an epic day out and wanting some easy warm-downs (v4 or less in grade). So

Looks like an awkward spot for a sit down though. Also if anyone is climbing it with one pad and without a spotter (like myself) you'd want your pad down at the landing zone for when your on the higher sections of route. But I've be looking for a good mid-warm up route so I'll give it a look. Nov 24, 2016

So for anyone looking for a v2+ warmup worthy in its own right without awkward sit starts, try out this alternative **Try both versions - its a great location** Nov 24, 2016

Yah, the name should be changed on this to 'Crack Em Up'. The stand is around v3 and like Ian said, the sit is around v6, but is very low quality. Nov 25, 2016

Yeah Jason I wasn't saying it was a sit start, looks better as a stand start definitely, just the underground guide says there is a sit start. Nov 25, 2016

Oh Crack Em Up, I hear the guide is available in print on request, is that true? I thought it was a unique and a good style addition for Round Pond, with good quality rock. A lot of options out there and I think this line and area could use a little attention... Nov 25, 2016
