Description

This entertaining short addition has a puzzling pumpy one move crux preceded by and followed by fun and mild movement. Excellent Rock quality.

Pitch#1: Start at belay bolt located at the very base of the spur where the landing is quite uneven. Once on the rock, climb the blunt arete past 6 bolts to the two-bolt belay. 5.11, 16m.

Location

Find the Basque Arete on the far left (west) of the wall. A very distinct and clean albeit brief spur of rock 15m to the left and below the start of Lucy and Almaz (Diamond).

Protection

QDs for 6 Stainless Steel 10mm bolts. Generous Protection.

Short climb as the first meters are easy. Tricky and powerful crux which is fun once you know how to do it. Nov 21, 2018
